Deep garnet in the glass, the nose boasts aromas of fresh strawberry, pomegranate, dark cherry, mocha, toast, clove, graphite and tea. The entrance is soft and bright, leading to a mid-palate with a little more heft, all while showing lush flavors of fresh strawberry, raspberry, forest floor, tea, mocha, eucalyptus, orange peel, cherry, plum and rose. The finish satisfies with lingering notes of fruit and spice, lovely acidity, and firm yet approachable tannins.

A mix of grapes from both estate and top-tier Willamette Valley vineyards, this shows meticulous attention to detail throughout. Sour cherry is the principal fruit, with supple acidity and firm but moderate tannins providing a frame. There are suggestions of citrus, especially oranges, and good length through a clean finish.
